Principal trombonist of the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, professor of trombone at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz.

Andreas Eitzinger, born in 1982 in Vöcklabruck (Upper Austria), studied trombone at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz with Josef Kürner. He is a multiple prizewinner of national and international competitions, including Prima La Musica and Gradus ad Parnassum. Since 2006, he has been principal trombonist of the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria. He has performed with the Vienna Philharmonic, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, Klangforum Wien, and various ensembles such as Phil Blech Wien and Pro Brass. In 2015, he took part in the world premiere of Bernd Richard Deutsch’s Triple Concerto at the Wiener Musikverein. As a soloist, he has appeared with renowned orchestras both in Austria and abroad. In addition to his orchestral work, he has taught at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt since 2012 and has been a professor of trombone at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz since 2024.
