Noriyoshi Murakami

Graduated from the Showa University of Music, Instrumental Music, Performers' Course, tuba major; moved to Germany in 2002, completed diploma studies at the Nuremberg University of Music in 2003 and at the Hannover University of Music in 2006. After working as a contracted member of the Lower Saxony State Opera House Hannover and as a member of the Hamamatsu Philharmonic Orchestra, she joined the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra in 2010. Member of the Bilkent Brass Quintet and Brass Mania's five. Full-time lecturer at Bilkent University. In 2001, graduation performance at Showa University of Music and Performing Arts, Yamaha Wind Newcomers Concert and Yomiuri Newcomers Concert; guest appearance at Internationales Orchesterinstitut Attergau in 2004, 2005 and 2007, and appearance at Salzburg Music Festival. In 2006, she performed a tuba concerto with the Collegium Musicum-Scios Pommersfelden Orchestra, and in 2014 she gave the Turkish premiere of Gregson's Tuba Concerto to great acclaim. He has studied tuba with Hiroyuki Matsushita, Kensuke Yao, Tatsuo Inada and JensBjorn-Larsen. He has studied chamber music with Shiro Miyata, Kenichi Osawa, Jonas Bylund and Jan Schroder.
